Dreams

Updated: Aug 28, 2021

What have you done with the dreams and gifts that God has placed in your possession? What inspires you?

It has been said that God does not call the equipped but equips the called. In The New Living Translation Bible says in Ephesians 2:10 We are God’s Masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Imagine thinking of us that way.

Realizing that we are a new creation in Christ, God’s Masterpiece, gives us all the power to do the work that he chose for each of us individually. He encourages us with his promise that he will not leave us alone in our endeavors to minister with the gifts he has given us. This promise is found in Phillippians 1:6 "being confident of this, He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus".

Again, we have His power, we just need to tap into. What more confidence do we need than this? We all have different gifts and using them together will bring about many opportunities to bring Jesus to those in need. Beautiful music played by an orchestra is created by each of the musicians using their gifts. That is what happens when we all use our gifts to encourage and share the love of Jesus. Another example is how a Thanksgiving meal is shared. We all bring wonderful different food to the table to share. What joy and thanksgiving take place when we use our different talents. Imagine the changes we would see in the world if we all stepped up and out. Hearts are always changed with the love of Jesus.

God breathed life into us and let us not forget that if we have breath, we have the opportunity and responsibility to share Jesus’s love with the world. Even in this unexpected and difficult time, let us not miss the opportunity to be the light to those that God puts in our path. Luke 18:27 reminds us "What is impossible with men is possible with God".

Masterpieces, claim your promises from God, step out of your comfort zones and do the work that Jesus created just for you to do. The world will be inspired and changed if we all take that step and answer the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 Therefore Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
